The Senior Socio-Cultural Analysts to generate analytic and descriptive documents, using various informational inputs, analytical techniques and research methodologies. These documents will be produced in support of general social-cultural information requirements, and will reinforce information processes such as describing the environment within the first step of the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE) process as well as providing direct input to various Joint Planning Teams (JPTs) and other planning efforts. Employee will coordinate and collaborate with COCOM intelligence analysts and others across the Intelligence Community in the production of Theater Analysis Reports (TARs), Theater Intelligence Reports (TIRs), and Theater Intelligence Briefs (TIBs) as well as any other non-standard production required by the Government. Employee will answer requests for information (RFI’s) upon request and in accordance with the COR's guidance.
Deliverables will include specific, often time sensitive topics that normally include the fusion of SIGINT data, tribal/cultural patterns, HUMINT message traffic, imagery, open source, and advanced geospatial technologies. Employee will use research and data mining to assist in building intuitive graphic models and incorporate them into operational assessments. Employee will provide information data layers to the command that will form the baseline effort toward identifying a critical information requirement for engagements and operations.
Employee will also support COCOM exercises conducted in their respective region(s) of expertise on an as-requested basis. This will include but is not limited to: scenario development, socio-cultural awareness training, socio-cultural advice within the exercise, and provide after action report and assessments comments to exercise planners.
10 years’ SCA experience
Graduate-level degree (MA/MS) in a social science discipline or 5+ years on a PAS or HQ SCA team.
8 years’ experience with social/cultural studies (e.g. anthropology, sociology, political science, etc.) or development economics. –
8 years’ IC or DOD intelligence experience with analysis, reporting and briefing in DOD settings
2 years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysis-Intermediate level certification on ArcGIS, analysts have a working knowledge and skills necessary to process GIS data and conduct spatial analysis, suitability analysis and create maps.
3 years’ experience using Anthro Mapper -Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Must have valid US Passport
Must be willing to travel to various AORs (CONUS and OCONUS)
Must have an active TS/SCI
