  • Responsibilities

    Radiant Solutions is seeking an Aerospace Engineering to join our team in the conceptualization, design and development of Aerospace systems ranging from small software subsystems to space mission architectures. The small-sat focused team pursues advanced systems development work for national and defense customers across a broad set of mission areas.

    • Develop architectural solutions based on system or sub system requirements
    • Apply rigorous systems engineering to define and evolve system baseline
    • Complete models and simulations, using manual or automated tools, to analyze or predict system performance under different operating conditions.
    • Develop detailed algorithms, subsystems or systems able to address advanced space system requirements
    • Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements
    • Maintain current knowledge of engineering practices and technical solutions
    • Establish engineering estimates
    • Design, plan and coordinate work teams
    • Provide mentoring and direction to junior systems engineers
    • Perform other duties as assigned

          Technology Expertise Track:

    • Relied upon for expert advice regarding technology areas
    • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of technology area
    • Consult with project leadership to ensure proper use of technology
    • Serve as technology expert for project


    • Experience with spacecraft systems and subsystems. Preferred strengths: GNC/ACS, FSW, Autonomy
    • Knowledge of system analysis methodologies
    • BS in Engineering or related discipline plus 10 to 14 years of experience or an MS in Engineering plus 8 to 12 years of experience or a PhD in Engineering plus 6 to 10 years of experience, or demonstrates knowledge or requirements for the position
    • Capability to creatively solve complex requirements needs
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
    • Possesses effective oral and written communication skills to include active listening
    • Capable of preparing schedule and budget and managing to them
    • Active TS/SCI required
