    Radiant Solutions has an urgent and immediate need for a MASINT Systems Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA.

     

    General Summary

    • Full-time MASINT Systems Engineer will provide engineering expertise as part of a cross-functional team for terrestrial-based technical collection. Engineer will advise the customer on the development process for specialized MASINT technology.  The ideal candidate will have recent hands-on experience with small-scale hardware development projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, quickly understand complex technical concepts and make assessments, and articulate recommendations to the customer.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary engineering expert on a cross-functional team
    • Provide technical input into full project life-cycle, including: requirements definition, developer oversight, and testing and evaluation
    • Serve as the technical interface to an external sensor developer
    • Assess technical solutions provided by external developers and provide recommendations to the government
    • Translate technical assessments to technically-varied audiences
    • This position will involve occasional CONUS travel

    To be qualified you must be a US Citizen and must have an active TS/SCI.  Poly highly desired. 

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

     

    • BS or higher in an applicable engineering discipline (e.g., Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering)
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting DOD/IC
    • Expert level knowledge of MASINT development process
    • Recent experience with small-scale hardware development projects
    • Technical requirements definition
    • Self-starter who takes initiative, is quick to understanding tasking, flexible, organized, and understands the big picture but can focus on the mission critical details
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Critical thinker with proven problem solving skills

     

    Desired Qualifications

    • SETA experience
    • Hardware integration experience
    • Robotics, machine learning, AI experience
    • Knowledge of systems acquisition process
