  • Responsibilities

    Participate in the design, building, and installation of new systems and system upgrades

    • Provide customer support including, but not limited to, desktop support, systems administration for assigned servers, application support and hardware configuration
    • Monitor local system operations and troubleshoot system problems
    • Perform system start-up/shutdown
    • Support CM processes and procedures (DR reporting, audits)
    • Support approved OS and software upgrades
    • Perform high-level system resource monitoring
    • Attend and support system planning meetings
    • Maintain user accounts and group assignments
    • Perform preventive maintenance
    • Perform maintenance coordination activities
    • Perform archive management
    • Support statistics report generation
    • Conduct operational and integration problem investigation and resolution
    • System administration and hardware support.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of MS Windows, Linux/UNIX, and networking
    • Basic experience in a mixed Linux/UNIX and Windows environment
    • Ability to interact in a professional manner with customers
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to function independently and work effectively in a small-team environment

     

    To be qualified you must be a US Citizen and must have the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
