  • Responsibilities

    Radiant Solution has an exciting opportunity for an innovative DevOps Engineer to assist in the setup and administration of a continuous integration/continuous delivery environment of a collection of geospatial information services.  Candidate will be part of a dedicated team of developers and integrators using ScrumXP agile development processes, automated testing, and continuous integration to deliver new features to support important missions as quickly as possible.

     

    Radiant Solutions is at the forefront of bringing open source projects to the government, and is poised to prove the successful adoption of continuous integration, containerization, and cloud deployments for geospatial big-data processing in government cloud environments.

     

    You will provide technical support, application knowledge, and domain expertise - focusing on the use of tools such as XRay, BitBucket, GitHub, Jenkins, and supporting languages and tools to create “push button” deployments through ruthless automation.

     

    Note: US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph are mandatory for this position and required for consideration.

    Qualifications

     

     

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship. Must be able to pass a polygraph.
    • BS in Computer Science or related discipline plus 4 to 6 years of experience or an MS in Computer Science or related discipline plus 2 to 4 years of experience or a PhD in Computer Science or related discipline, or demonstrates knowledge of requirements for the position

     

    Expertise in the following skills:

    • Basic systems administration and installation
    • Knowledge and experience with of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and OpenStack cloud offerings
    • QA/test frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, etc)
    • Build-test-deploy frameworks (Jenkins, GoCD, etc)
    • Understanding of build automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment concepts
    • Containerization platforms (Docker, OpenShift, CloudFoundry, etc)
    • Open source experience (such as contributions to projects, public github account)
    • Experience working in an agile team environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • AWS / C2S experience
    • TS/SCI with polygraph
